Commercial CCTV Monitoring Services

Commercial CCTV Monitoring Services in Central Belt Scotland

Remote security shouldn’t be a headache. We provide professional Commercial CCTV Monitoring Services across Scotland’s Central Belt, giving you eyes on your site when you can’t be there. Whether it’s a self-storage yard  in Glasgow or a transport depot in Edinburgh, we’ve got you covered.

The Problem: On-Site Security is Costly and Flawed

Relying on a physical security guard is expensive, and let’s be honest, they can’t be everywhere at once.

If you’re managing a vacant property or a car dealership, you know the stress of wondering if your site is actually safe overnight. Standard “record-only” cameras are useless until after the damage is done.

You don’t need a video of a theft; you need to stop the theft from happening in the first place.

The Solution: Proactive Remote Monitoring

We transform your cameras from passive observers into active deterrents. Our Commercial CCTV Monitoring Services link your on-site hardware to our UK-based Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). When an intruder triggers your alarmed CCTV system, our operators  see it instantly.

We operate in strict accordance with BS 8418, the British Standard for installation and remote monitoring of detector-activated CCTV.

This ensures your system is compliant and capable of generating a police URN (Unique Reference Number) where required. Our control room operators  filter out false alarms caused by wildlife or weather, so we only act when there’s a real threat.

Success Story: Glasgow Construction Site

A local authority  was losing thousands to plant machinery theft despite having “standard” CCTV.

We installed a monitored system with thermal triggers.

Within the first week,  control room operators spotted two intruders at 2 AM, issued a live audio warning, and dispatched the police. The intruders fled empty-handed, and the local authority  saved thousands of pounds  in potential equipment loss.

What is CCTV monitoring?

CCTV monitoring is a service where your cameras are watched in real-time by trained operators at an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC). Instead of just recording footage, your site is actively monitored for suspicious activity.

An ARC is a secure, accredited facility where trained operators monitor alarms and CCTV systems 24/7. When an incident is detected, they can take immediate action such as issuing audio warnings or contacting keyholders.

Your cameras are connected to the ARC via a secure internet connection. When motion or suspicious activity is detected, the system sends an alert to the monitoring team who then view the live footage, assess the situation and take appropriate action (e.g., broadcast a warning message through speakers or call the Police).

Standard CCTV only records footage for later review.

Monitored CCTV is proactive – incidents are detected and acted on as they happen, helping to prevent crime rather than just document it.

Yes, usually.

It’s significantly cheaper and cameras don’t take breaks.. One controller can monitor your entire perimeter simultaneously.

The ARC operator will review the footage, a live audio warning may be issued (“You are being monitored…”), keyholders or security personnel are contacted, and Police may be alerted if required.

Yes, providing your system includes suitable speakers then an ARC operator can issue real-time verbal warnings, which are highly effective at deterring intruders.

Not necessarily.

While a stable fibre connection  is best, we can use 4G/5G industrial routers for remote sites..

In many cases, yes.

Existing systems can often be upgraded or integrated with remote monitoring, depending on compatibility.

If your site is high-value or remote, yes.

Most thefts occur during “transition” hours or weekends when staff aren’t present.

Absolutely.

Many UK insurers require NSI-approved monitoring to cover high-value stock or plant machinery.

No.

ARC operators and software filter out the most common causes of false alarms.

Police response depends on verified threats and local regulations.

ARC monitoring increases the likelihood of a priority response because incidents are visually confirmed.
