At RACAM Security & Communications, we specialise in the supply, installation, and maintenance of electronic fire, security, and communication systems for businesses across Scotland and the North of England.

Since 1998, we’ve worked with organisations of all sizes – from offices and retail spaces to industrial facilities, healthcare providers, and high-security environments – delivering dependable systems that keep people, property, and operations protected.

RACAM was founded in 1998 by Brian Maguire and Joe Armstrong with a simple idea: focus on quality workmanship rather than chasing volume.

That approach still defines us today.

Following Joe’s retirement in 2026, the business is now run by Brian and his son Calum, continuing the same hands-on, honest way of working that built our reputation in the first place. We believe in doing jobs properly – regardless of size – and treating our customers the way we’d expect to be treated ourselves: with honesty, integrity, and respect.

RACAM supplied and installed a 5 MP set of CCTV cameras at my home to cover the exterior of the property and my cars. From start to finish the process was seamless. Calum came out and we explained what we were looking for and he fully explained all our options. Later on that same day we received a full written quotation which we didnt hesitate with. We didnt even look anywhere else as the quote was so reasonable. We asked for our system to be tweaked the day before install and this was not a problem. A date was set and the tradesman were on time, were meticulous and clean ensuring we were still able to trade whilst the work was being carried out. The system was fully explained and all questions were answered. Since this time, we have found the sytem to be exactly what we wanted and wish we had it installed years ago.
